How long is the course?

The course is a single day on the weekend – either Saturday or Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Where is the course?

The Saturday or Sunday training takes place at the MTO training lot at Humber College Queen’s Plate Parking lot located here following this link: https://mto.training/contact-us.php#locationmaps

What kinds of motorcycles are permitted?

Any two-wheeled, street legal and road worthy motorcycle is permitted. Scooters, are permitted.

What will I learn?

There is a brief theoretical portion that will be covered a the start of the day. Advanced skills will be taught in the following areas: slow speed maneuvers, emergency stop and swerving, traction control, and curves.

What is the fee?

The fee is $325 plus HST for the 2024 season, payable by Amex, MasterCard, & VISA.

What do I need to bring?

You need to ride a street legal, road worthy motorcycle or scooter. You must wear a legal, minimum DOT approved helmet; a leather or textile motorcycle jacket; sturdy leather gloves; riding pants or sturdy jeans; motorcycle boots or other sturdy leather boots that cover the ankle. You must also bring your licence, motorcycle ownership and insurance documents.

How do I know if I qualify?

You qualify if you have a valid M2 or M Licence

Does the course run rain or shine?

Yes! We are all real-world riders, and deal with real-world riding challenges. We only stop for snow and lightning!

What is your policy on CANCELLATIONS, TRANSFERS and REFUNDS?

For the Pro Rider training courses, cancellations are allowed up to four business days prior to course start. A minimum $50 cancellation fee will be applicable. Students are permitted a one-time transfer between courses at no extra cost if arrangements are made at info@mto.training a minimum of four days prior to beginning of their course. Additional transfers will be subject to a minimum $50 fee each. Any refunds or credits for early withdrawal will be at the sole discretion of MTO.

Is there a waiver?

All students will be required to sign a waiver at the start of their course. Those aged 16 or 17 must bring a parent or legal guardian with them first thing in the morning.
